Hello, December and hello to the holiday season! Malibu has a great variety of Christmas and holiday themed events going on all month long. To get you out and inspired this month, we’re sharing some of our favorites. Here are some of the best holiday events in Malibu happening from December 7-15. December 7 & 8 – Our Lady of Malibu Christmas Market Get in the festive spirit at the Our Lady of Malibu Christmas Market. The market will be full of vendors handmade jewelry, ornaments and decorations, body products, clothing, a wine bar, and much much more. SHADED malibu will be there selling some of our favorite goodies for you to put under the Christmas tree this holiday season. Come see us! Finally, let’s not forget the Christmas tree lighting event and a visit from Santa Claus himself starting at 6 pm on Saturday. Saturday, Dec. 7^th 2 – 8 pm Sunday, Dec. 8^th 8 – 2 pm Our Lady of Malibu Catholic Church 3625 Winter Canyon Rd., Malibu, CA 90265 December 14 – Holidays at Malibu Country Mart Celebrate the holiday season with the whole family at Malibu Country Mart. Enjoy Christmas carolers, arts and crafts, a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, Christmas letter writing, and a little bit of fun for everyone. Saturday, Dec. 14^th 12 – 4 pm Check the Facebook event here for more info. All December long – Ice Skating in Santa Monica Enjoy all that December has to offer by ice skating in downtown Santa Monica. Cozy up with hot chocolate, a skating partner, and take on the ice in this perfect winter activity. Throughout most of December 2 – 10 pm Check the details on the Facebook event page here. All December Long – Snow at Malibu Pier It’s not often you’ll see snow in Malibu, is it? Or is it... daily at 5 pm, Malibu Farm is letting it snow at the Malibu Pier with eco-friendly artificial snow. Bring your camera, some friends, and even the whole family for this lovely winter event. Throughout December 5 pm Malibu Pier December 15 – Stonehaus Family Christmas Celebrate the 5^th annual Stonehaus Family Christmas packed full of holiday fun. There will be cookie decorating, S’mores and hot chocolate stations, and even a train ride through Westlake Village Inn. Sunday, December 15th – The Stonehaus 4:30 – 6:30 pm See more about the event on their Facebook event page here. December 15 – Star of Wonder: Calvary’s Christmas Festival Come experience a great holiday night at Calvary Community Church in Westlake Village. Enjoy snow sledding, s’mores around the campfire as well as the Shepard’s petting zoo. Coffee, hot chocolate, and snacks will be served. Sunday, Dec. 15 – Calvary Community Church 5 – 8 pm Check the Facebook event here. All December Long – Holiday Ice Rink at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks Go ice skating under fairy lights at The Lakes at Thousand Oaks. With its gorgeous set up, visitors can enjoy skating the night away at $20 a ticket (including skate rental). Throughout December and January – The Lakes at Thousand Oaks Weekdays from 3 pm Weekends from 10 am Check out their lessons, designed to have you spinning in no time!
